Accessibility statement

Ginger Dialogue, Lda. is committed to making gingerdialogue.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, in line with the European Accessibility Act and Portuguese Decree-Law no. 82/2022.

1. Reference standard

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, and the European standard EN 301 549 as our reference.

2. Compliance status

We consider the website partially compliant: most content meets the requirements, with the limitations listed below.

3. Measures taken

• Adequate colour contrast and readable font sizes, with pages that work at up to 200% zoom.
• Full keyboard navigation, visible focus and a “Skip to content” link.
• Consistent heading structure, identified regions and page language set (Portuguese and English).
• Forms with visible labels and text error and success messages.
• Respect for the operating system’s reduced-motion preference.
• A keyboard-accessible cookie notice, where rejecting is as easy as accepting.

4. Known limitations

• Some illustrations are decorative and do not have a detailed description.
• Third-party content and services (maps, videos, external platforms) may not meet all requirements.
• Websites and apps we build for clients have their own statements; content published there is each client’s responsibility.
