Cookie policy

Cookies are small files saved in your browser. “Local storage” and “session storage” are similar browser memories. We use them to make the platform work, keep it secure and remember your choices. Optional cookies (statistics and marketing) are used only if you accept them. The Portuguese version prevails in case of doubt.

1. Necessary cookies (always active)

These are needed for the website, ordering and logins to work and to keep them secure. They do not need consent (article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, as transposed by Law no. 41/2004).

• gd_consent – remembers your cookie choices. 180 days.
• gd_cust – keeps you logged in to “My orders” after you confirm the code sent to your email. 60 days, or until you log out.
• wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie, wp-settings-* – login for partner businesses, their teams and administrators. Session or up to 14 days if “keep me logged in” is chosen.
• gd_2fa_trust_* – remembers a trusted device after the 2-step login code, so the code is not asked every time. 30 days.
• __cf_bm, cf_clearance and other Cloudflare cookies – set by Cloudflare to protect the website against bots and attacks, including the anti-robot check (Turnstile) on logins, sign-up, orders and the contact form. Up to 30 minutes / 1 year, depending on the cookie.
• Stripe and PayPal cookies – set on their own pages when you pay online, for payment security and fraud prevention.

2. Local and session storage (necessary)

• gs_cart_* (session) – your basket on a restaurant page until you order or close the tab.
• gs_me (local) – your name, phone and email, to fill in the next order faster on this device. You can delete it by clearing your browser data.
• gd_dev (local) – a random device identifier used only to prevent fraud and false orders (see the Privacy Policy).
• gd_dir_me (session) – the location or address you chose on the “Near you” page.
• ga_sound, ga_printed, gdp_* (local) – partner dashboard only: order alert sound setting, kitchen tickets already printed and the latest order status, so several open tabs don’t repeat the same work.

3. Optional cookies (only with your consent)

• Statistics – help us understand how the website is used (for example pages visited), so we can improve it.
• Marketing – used to measure campaigns and show relevant ads on other websites.

These cookies are only placed if you accept the corresponding category in the cookie banner. The exact tools in use (if any) are shown in the cookie settings. Your choice and its date are recorded as proof of consent for 12 months.

4. Content from other services

Some pages load content from other services, which receive your IP address when they load: map images from OpenStreetMap, address suggestions from Photon (komoot), and the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-robot check. They are used only to provide these functions.

5. How to change your choices

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time: Cookie settings. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; if you block necessary cookies, logins and ordering may not work.
